Privacy: Notes on reader data

This notice describes the features supplied by zandumitroves.world and the choices available to you.

Who to contact

For privacy questions about this independent website, email [email protected]. Include enough context to identify the issue, but do not send identity documents or sensitive personal information unless a secure, necessary process has been agreed.

Reading the website

The supplied site code contains no analytics, advertising scripts, social embeds, account system or tracking pixels. Images, scripts and styles are served locally. Following an external source link takes you to another organisation’s site, where its own privacy practices apply.

The infrastructure serving a website may process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information to deliver content, maintain security and diagnose faults. The page code does not determine the host’s logging configuration or retention period. Please contact us for questions about deployment-specific processing.

The botanical question builder

The builder processes the fields you enter in your browser. It does not submit those fields to a server, save them to local storage or automatically email them. A draft remains in the page until it is changed or the page is closed or reloaded, subject to your browser’s form-restoration behaviour.

Copying places the draft on your device clipboard after your request. Downloading creates a plain-text file on your device. Your operating system, clipboard history, browser or synchronisation services may retain those copies independently. Delete them using the relevant device controls if you no longer need them.

Email you choose to send

If you send an email, your email address, message and any information you include are processed through email services and may be used to answer the enquiry, investigate a correction or maintain necessary correspondence. Do not include health information, confidential records or precise locations of vulnerable species.

Correspondence should be kept only as long as needed for the enquiry and any applicable legal, security or recordkeeping requirements. This website does not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule. You may request deletion or ask what information is held, subject to applicable exceptions.

Saved preferences

If you use the save button on the Browsing Settings page, the site stores one motion preference in your browser’s local storage under zandumitroves-motion. It is not an advertising identifier. It persists until you clear it, remove site data or your browser deletes it. You can read without saving any preference.

Your choices and rights

You may clear browser storage, avoid entering personal information, delete local drafts and contact us about access, correction or deletion of correspondence. Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction or a complaint to a relevant supervisory authority. Requests may require proportionate verification.

Changes and scope

This notice describes this static website’s own features, not external websites or independent browser services. It should be reviewed when website functionality or hosting arrangements change. For browser storage controls, see Browsing Settings.
